Ashley, originally from Suffield, Connecticut, graduated from Elon University in 2019 with a degree in Marketing and now resides in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Purdue Global.

She currently works in social media and influencer marketing at Wayfair, bringing over five years of industry experience. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling, cooking, and creating new recipes. She’s excited to be part of the Cupid Project, where she hopes to help spread joy and love within her local community and beyond.

Gaurav is a medical student with a background in psychology and a strong commitment to mentorship and community outreach. His work spans orthopedic research, student leadership, and service initiatives that connect medicine with meaningful community impact. He founded the Patriot Open, a pickleball tournament that funds medical student health initiatives, and helps lead national mentorship efforts through the Medical Student Orthopedic Society. 

Gaurav is passionate about fostering connection and belonging across generations. Through The Cupid Project, he hopes to strengthen partnerships with nursing homes and recipient facilities to ensure every card delivers a genuine moment of warmth, joy, and human connection.

Leah is a Human Resources Consultant with a background in Public Relations and Social Media Management currently working at The University of Texas at Austin. Their work explores how to strategically forecast and launch product campaigns and follow algorithm trends on social media. Originally from the Deep South, Leah graduated from college with a degree in Public Relations a passion for working with people from diverse walks of life.

They’re dedicated to community engagement, and are passionate about bridging generational gaps between the younger and older generations. In their free time, Leah enjoys traveling, collecting rare sneakers and cooking new meals.

Meredith is an ICU nurse from Chicago who is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner. She enjoys running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants around the city.

Moved by the loneliness many seniors experience, Meredith strives to bring comfort, connection, and joy to their lives through the Cupid Project. Her goal is to put a smile on their faces through the simple act of card making and to remind them that they are valued and never alone.

Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through moments of transition and growth. With experience across mission-driven nonprofits and the entertainment space, she has dedicated her career to helping people feel seen, supported, and connected. She currently works with families navigating the financial and emotional impact of cancer treatment.

Originally from New York, Rachel is passionate about community and connection. She loves hosting dinner parties, going to music festivals, and traveling to new places. As Corporate Sponsorships Lead, she is excited to help The Cupid Project grow its partnerships and share its mission of love and human connection across generations.

Sierra is a Social Media Manager and Camera Assistant based in Brooklyn, NY. She has worked on multiple award winning films and network TV shows and has a passion for storytelling, striving to create engaging content that drives meaningful connections and change.

She loves all types of artwork and spends her free time shooting and developing 35mm film. She loves meeting new people and is excited to join the Cupid Project and bring face to face joy to seniors in an increasingly digital world.

Tanisha is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, beginning her journey as a volunteer and now serving on staff for New Troop Start-Up for the past three years. With a strong background in education and consulting, she has supported individuals and small businesses while managing a wide range of administrative responsibilities.

Tanisha has also spent seven years as a Facilitator with Scouts, empowering adults to become confident and effective leaders. Passionate about connecting with girls and their families, she finds joy in introducing them to the enriching world of Girl Scouts. Outside of her professional commitments, Tanisha enjoys traveling, spending quality time with loved ones, and scrapbooking.
